What is cashmere?

Hidden beneath coarse goat hair, cashmere is found at the root. This ultra-fine down grows during winter and sheds in the spring. It is a highly sought-after fiber, representing only 0.2% of the total animal fiber production worldwide. Note: Hand measurements may slightly vary by 1-3cm, which is considered normal. 

Washing and Caring 

• Strongly recommend dry cleaning.

• Button up your cashmere if necessary.

• Machine wash at around 30 degrees on wool settings with mild detergent. Avoid using softeners or bleach.

• Limit machine spin to 800 tours/min.

• Shake the item vigorously.

• Dry it flat on a bath towel. Never tumble dry.

• Brush away light pilling with a special anti-pilling comb.

• Store your cashmere in a well-ventilated, dry place, and consider using mothballs if necessary.
